The Black Body Experience Project.
Deep in the midst of the city, we are.
Running in it’s arteries, we are.
Its limbs, its eyes, its soul. We are. Here.
“ The Black Body Experience Project is a compelling documentary that amplifies the voices of racialized women navigating society in Canada. The time of a boudoir photoshoot session, six women of color share their lived experience on the objectification, consumption and sexualization of the black female body.
Through candid interviews, intimate visuals, and layered storytelling, the film explores themes of identity, resilience, and systemic inequality in a society that objectifies and sexualizes darker female bodies.”
